Verbatim TUFF-’N’-TINY
by Sonny Davé
What We Said
I liked the smallness but was a little
dubious about the durability. I let my wife try it. She put
some pictures on it and took it to a Target for printing.
She happens to drop the drive between the counter and the
printer. The space was so small even a wire hanger could not
fit and the drive was stuck in the middle.
I had to take a thin metal ruler and bang
the drive down to the ground. I was thinking to myself so
much for the durability.
I forced the drive to the ground, got it
out and wiped the dirt off. The drive didn’t have a scratch
on it. I placed it in the USB slot the pictures came up
without a problem. The Target photo development employee was
surprised at the size and impressed that it still worked
after such a beating.
Just to double check on the
pronouncements made, I placed the drive in glass of water
for 30 seconds, wiped it clean and used it again.
All I can say is
wow! The
drive is great, no problems!
